What is Cyber Monday? Anything related to Black Friday

    Cyber Monday! Isn't the word you are hearing more often now? Do you find this term moreover like Hack-notic or some Cyber phishing criminal term or it;s related to Black Friday? Well, if you're thinking so then STOP! being paranoid about CYBER MONDAY. It's exact-ally different to what you are thinking. It's not-at-all NEGATIVE term, instead it's the one of the POSITIVE term in Marketing and Sales Industry. 
     

Cyber Monday is a persuading term more often used by the marketing companies to persuade people to shop online.  Cyber Monday is the Monday exactly after Thanksgiving holiday in United States. The term was coined by Ellen Davis and Scott Silverman, and made its debut on November 28, 2005 in a Shop.org press release entitled "'Cyber Monday' Quickly Becoming One of the Biggest Online Shopping Days of the Year" Cyber Monday has become the online equivalent to Black Friday and offers a way for smaller retail websites to compete with larger chains. Since its inception, it has become an international marketing term used by online retailers across the world.






 "77 percent of online retailers said that their sales increased substantially on the Monday after Thanksgiving, a trend that is driving serious online discounts and promotions on Cyber Monday this year (2005)".                                                      (According to the Shop.org/Bizrate Research 2005 eHoliday Mood Study)
