With this great quote by online music store founder and entrepreneur Derek Sivers had brought revolutionary changes in online and e-commerce industry. Even today, many entrepreneurs works on this ideology to improve their sales performance and I think no quotes is better than this to define what Inbound Marketing is.



However who don't know what Inbound Marketing is can read the definition below:-

“Inbound marketing focuses on creating quality content that pulls people toward your company and product, where they naturally want to be. By aligning the content you publish with your customer’s interests, you naturally attract inbound traffic that you can then convert, close, and delight over time.”


The term Inbound Marketing is relatively new into the marketing industry and we are thankful to Hubspot for coining this term. But apart from this Inbound Marketing has one different meaning and it is quite simple-

"Attracting customer towards your product or service without going on to them i.e. market in such a way that customers come to you without being approached."


So, here are some ways to attract customers using Inbound Marketing:-


1. Pre-Launch Word-of-Mouth Branding

If you have come across the several incidents where company's upcoming product have been leaked, than that's the classic example of what Word-of-Mouth (WOM) branding prior to the launch. These company's actually tries to create positive word-of-mouth environment for their upcoming product to create a good buzz in the market and as a result they are successful in creating curiosity about their product. Well, it has been said that word-of-mouth plays better role than just sharing online and happy customers often spread this to 6 people. So, in this way one can create the cascading inbound towards product or service.


2. Influencer Marketing

The world is full of crazy fans and followers, so does the requirement of brand. Ultimately, this fans will be your customer base for your brand but the trick here is that to identify the potential customer and their influencer, this is quite tough job to do but for those who are good at that can do best than others who are not, but still hard-work matters-so keep learning how to find Influencer's. Once you get the influencer's it's not as tough to attract your customer base because these influencer's has the customer base who follows them and if they will tell them to do buy, 8 out 10 they will surely buy. Classic example, Celebrity endorsements!


3. Work on personal branding of brand & founder

Heard, how announcements by brand and founder impacts the price of shares in industry. Than you might have understood the value of personal branding. However, this is valid to those industry leaders who are on top but you can use it too, at small level. Imagine, you have good contacts at local level and you have really have good image proposition among people you know. It is always the first brand in the industry who built's the prior loyalty people don't even know what they are attracted at and via using this you will have in-depth analysis of you customer's mind. However, use this cautiously because your potential customer can get affected by present customer in positive or negative way. 


5. Email Marketing for Working professionals


Well, this is quite not effective way but if you will stick onto the than surely you would generate some quite good leads. See, every industry professionals need to check their emails and it is mandatory for them, as matter of fact you can utilize this way maybe, someone starts liking your brand. As said earlier it is quite not effective way because email alerts sent to them always reaches to their spam folder and who reads spam message. But based on some industry statistics this will quite effective way if try to make your mail relevant for the filtration to primary folder.
